LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for 50 points and 18 assists as the Miami Heat erased a 20-point deficit to defeat the Golden State Warriors on New Years Day.
After giving up 72 points in the 1st half, the Heat clamped down on D and made the Warrior’s miss their first 9 shots in the 2nd half, and went on a furious 15-3 run. Once Bosh made a free throw with 11:27 left to make the score 85-84 Miami, the Heat never trailed again.
Maybe the most incredible thing to happen was to see LeBron post-up more than once in a single game! He went 7-9 on shots close to the rim. He should really try doing that more often.
LeBron scored 44 points, Wade added 34 and Bosh 18, while the rest of their team combined for just 11. Joel Anthony had no points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks in 29 minutes of playing time. But it mattered not as Miami won their ninth straight overall 107-100 against Portland. It was Miami’s second straight overtime win, and thirteenth straight road win.

Intriguing: ever since LeBron sent out his now famous karma tweet about the Cavaliers losing by 55, the Heat have lost 4 straight, LeBron has turned his ankle to miss two games and now Chris Bosh is out indefinitely. Strange.
